After the final game, the players return to their rooms to refresh themselves for the next activity prepared by the committee. We had planned to bring them around SS2, guided them around to find nice and delicious food to eat. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ice Bowl SS2, for being one of our sponsors in this year’s edition of MUNUS! We even brought NUS players there to taste of their wide range of desserts.
The highly-anticipated event has finally arrived! The bus from Singapore, carrying excited National University of Singapore (NUS) participants, arrived at University of Malaya (UM) around 10am and they were given a warm welcome by us.
We started off by launching the opening ceremony at Dewan Jemerlang. First there is the speech from our own MedSoc vice-president, Miss How Shi Jie, followed by a another speech by the event director, Mr Tan Soon Yee. After that, NUS representative Shoban gave his own speech as well, much to the delight to the audience.
Next, it was our very own Dean, Professor Dr. Adeeba who proceeded to the stage for her turn to give her speech. She was satisfied with the way things were going and was proud of everyone who was a part of this annual event.
